87 Carrera production question

I sold to a customer a 87 Carrera cab. with the "turbo look" option. I read somewhere that there were less than 20 of these cars imported that year. Where can I find out exactly how many were sold in the States in 1987?

Rick,
Try a search...I recall it been posted here before.
The numbers however, do not take into account the grey markets that made it into the country.
I believe the number for 1987 was 16.
Just outta curiousity, manual or auto top, what was the selling price?
Cheers,
Paul

'83 Euro M491 SC Cab

posts the "official" production numbers. However, Nine9six is correct in that these numbers are probably not right. there was some discrepancy with how Porsche recorded the options, and the ROW cars are not accounted for here. So for 87, 16 might not be correct, but it is probably less than 30 for sure.

Where can you get overall sales figures (all 911 configurations) for 1986?
