there is a bunch of us BAP guys going to run mines rd. out of livermore on sunday. getting together @ 10am, a few minutes of show and tell, then off to mines before all the hardleys, eerrrr,, i mean harleys clog the road up.

We're meeting at Concannon and S. Livermore, right? BTW, what's at that intersection (parking lot, restaurant, shop, school)?

There is a large parking lot that serves two baseball/softball fields. Across the street is a vineyard. The intersection is actually a three-way stop. Concannon tees into South Livermore.

Note the entrance to the parking lot on South Livermore, near the yellow arrow I added to the pic. It is just past the buildings with the red roofs. If you go all the way to Concannon, you've gone too far.

I'm surprised you put Hardleys in the same sentence with a TLR or a 996 Duc. All bark, no bite, but good for pulling tree stumps.

Just got back home from the run. That was mucho fun. About 6 of us showed up and did the whole Mines to I-5 to Corral Canyon to Livermore loop. We must have gone at least 150 miles (at least for me since I live in Moraga). I got up to about 100 mph max, but that one turn scared the ***** out of me when we were heading toward I-5. My whole rear end came around for a second and I was pretty much facing the rock incline . Overall, the drive was great. I beleive Zoanas made a video while on the drive. I can't wait to see it!

Yeah I was quite thrilled . Actaully I clicked the "Submit Reply" button 3 times since the pelican server (or my server) was acting real slow and not getting anywhere.
Ahh, this sunburn is killing me. At least I wore some sunscreen prior to the drive.

I guess it was so exciting yu had to say it three times.

Absolutely beautiful day today. A little too much traffic on the run, but there was enough free road to satisfy. It's like a round of golf that you play and you birdie three out of eighteen. It's enough to say you had a good day. (I suppose that depends on your handicap).

The video was horrendous. First, It never started recording on the first leg out to the Junction. I put it in player mode instead of camera mode. Doh! The second leg, which is the best leg, with much smoother pavement, and higher speeds, I didn't have the anti-shake setting turned on, so the ride looks pretty bumpy. I'll see what I can cut together and post a link for you guys.

All in all, another fantastic run in sunny Mexifornia!
