Don't forget to have a full alignment when you are finished with the ride height. All your cambers and toes will be affected.
FWIW, I re-indexed and set my ride height with Wil's calculator and used 29 degrees for my angle. I believe I used 2750lbs with my stock Carrera bars.

Did that turn out to be 1.5 inches higher? Otherwise how much did you settle on. My car is in the same boat your was in, I don't know anything about setting height yet so the first time I doubt I will be able to do it myself but I would like to be able to ask for the correct to be made. Would a tire place that does alignments be at least qualified enough to raise it 1/2 an inch during an alignment?
