Dzus Fasteners-Los Angeles Area

Restoring an old car with Dzus Fasteners. I'd like to find a brick and mortar place in LA where I can walk in and look before I buy. Found several places on the web that sell online, but the local aircraft places that I contacted don't do business with individuals. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks

Go thru the yellow pages and look for hot-rod shops.

Aircraft Spruce and Specialty is located in Corona CA, they have a walkin retail store there. You can check it out first at www.aircraftspruce.com.

Have you tried San Val Pilot Supplies near Van Nuys airport? They sell parts. And, Tim is right about Aircraft Spruce, but they're a pretty long haul from Santa Clarita. If they have what you need, you can probably get it shipped for a few bucks -- certainly less than what you'd spend in gas.

Yeah, I know about Aircraft Spruce. Its about 80 miles each way. I want to try and fit them in the existing receptacles that I have. I found a cool place in Burbank, called Lucky's I think it used to be called Joe Factors or something like that. Very cool nuts and bolts store. They have some and I'll bring my part in and see if any they have work for me on Monday.

Thanks guys.

Thanks Tim!

I can order them but, I'm going to look at the hardware store on Monday about a mile from work. The parts for me look to be about $10. Its the $40 in gas to Corona that I want to avoid.

Lots of places around Van Nuys and Burbank airport areas. Might ask Singpilot as he had lived and worked around that area for years and knows where those places are by memory. Have been to SalVan and they are as well very good.
