Paint & hand Sand Buff. Did it myself.
All by hands. Well, the sanding part is not.. but by myself
 Before:  After:  After all, hand sand buff. Turn out to be better than I expected:

Ok. I am now completely stumped. Why on earth would you sand off what appears to be good paint?

I think he sanded off rust around the edges.

Well, in the "before" pic. the louvers in the hood appear to be fine.

He has a previous post where he found rust all in the louvers.

some of you got it right. Over all the car look manificent, to normal people like me. But when I look very closed I can see some area of the paint budch up, as imperfect paint job. And they are only at the corner of the louver areas. Finally, I found some very tinny paint crack-like and one nice day when babying my car, I got crazy (but good) and poke them with a rasor. Couple mins later, this what I got (pic below)
Well, I painted cars in the past several time, but still not a pro. I didn't think this little area can be that shinny and gaps is that even, because paint the whole area is easier than painting an area within an area and even the gap out. Well, I am happy with the finally result. Come out and touch it all day long . Maybe next weekends on the other side.Either the front fenders, or maybe the whole car need to be redo soon, soon as in couple years. I hope the louvers paint last me that long.

with the slant nose is double whammy, if you dont have mud flaps on the front then the rear quarters get sand blasted by the front tires, on the louvered slant nose(by the way cool car) there is probably a screen under the louvers but sand and junk still hits the paint causing problems, Kevin

yes, I have the gril (net) but still.. yes, as you said.
I didn't really like slantnose look any way but bought this car since it look really nice for the price. My plan is having it for a while (couple years), than MAYBE switch back to the normal turbo bug eye front fenders, which always been my dream car.
