Qtr window ear mirrors

Are those early 911 quater light ear mirrors any good?

I am thinking that they may look good on my car but I don't want to add anything that useless in operation.

I did a bit of searching on google but for the life of me cannot seem to fina pic.

To be quite honest I personally have no idea what you refer to.
It may have gotten lost in the tramslation.

I believe this is in reference to the 935-style mirrors. Also the same as used by Ruf for the yellowbird.

I had a set and then sold them. Test fitted them and thought, hmmm those don't show me much!

Cheers

The 935 style look racy but give rather awful coverage...depends what you're after...

the mirrors as fitted to the 2.1 turbo pictured are made by vitaloni and the model is called Sebring. Do a google search for them

the 1/4 lite mirrors use the same internal parts from the Sebring mirrors but their placement leaves very little to see! but they look cool, don't they?

Thanks thats exactly what I mean. My question is; can you see much out of them? Are they very adjustable?

I need mirrors on my car to go to the Nurbergring (or they won't let you on track I'm told) and don't like the chrome versions early cars have.

Yep you must have mirror(s) for the ring...once I get my 935 mirrors mounted I will try and report back on the visibility from them.

I have some mirors of a comparable size on another car and it helps a great deal to use convex glass in both of them. You won't see as well as a larger mirror but it does help.
