I have come across another P car (95 993) that I may not be able to pass up due to the deal...before I pull the trigger I would like to get a feel for what my coupe would bring on the private seller market (pelican/rennlist/autotrader).
I have looked on Autotrader, and most people are asking anywhere from 16k-20k...what is realistic?? NEED A PRICE CHECK on my 87' 911 coupe, what’s it worth?? Car had top end rebuilt @ 113k just had major service @ 125k w/ plugs, valve adj., fluids, brake flush, etc..also just installed a new set of bilstien sports all around. Car is original and never been molested. Has close to 126k on the clock, no smoke, no leaks/ bone dry, strong compression numbers-pretty much perfect. Silver with black interior, paint is flawless, fuch wheels have no scuffs or blemishes..steering wheel is a momo design by FA Porsche.. So, if I decide to pull the trigger on the 993, what could I expect to get out of my car?

Low to mid $20's depending on true / buyer's perception of condition, assuming you have complete documentation on the rebuild.

I'd agree with low-mid 20's.

I think you can SELL the car for 19-20K. In order to do that, you have to listen to the fellow above and list it for low 20's. Too bad that's the game, but it is.
And that's a lot of car for 20K. However, the competition out there is steep for 20K cars. You can also buy a lot of a car in other brands for 20K, or an older Boxster. (Please don't get started on the Boxster deal. It's a nice little sports car that drives well and has good amenities.) |

I'm on the fence regarding selling it. I wouldnt even be thinking about it if I didn't run into this 993..

FWIW, I paid $15K last year for my silver 87 coupe with black interior and 130K. No top end and it's probably not as nice as yours. Prices are typically a bit lower in CA too...
