targa door replacements for 75

i am thinking of going galvenized with the targa doors on my 75. Does anyone know what model years would fit? and if would the 77 and up have vent windows?

I believe everything up to an '89 would work fine. As you get into the SC yeared cars and up you would get the addition of the side impact bar that is inside the door as well as power windows. The latter could be taken out I guess.

With the exception of the additional bar the doors themselves are the same. As for the window frames, they were changes a couple of times...I don't think the later doors ever had the option of vent windows. If you already have the vent windows on your doors, you could move them over to the later ones. You would need to do the same for the manual window crank components if you wanted to retain that as well.

Having said all of that, I have a set of targa doors from a 1980. They currently have the fixed window in black trim. They are also power windows.
