question on H5 wiring
Short story...one of our club members has a '77 930 that had been already been converted to H5s when he bought it.
His high beams have decent output, but the low beams...well, he can see better at night with his fogs! He replaced the bulbs...no change. Needless to say, we need to solve this... We suspect that the plugs for the H5s were improperly installed. Here is what he's got (hope this makes sense). As you are looking at the plug: Blue is high beam and connects to the right prong. Brown is ground and connects to the middle prong. Green is low and connects to the left. Try as I might, I cannot find how the plug is really supposed to be wired (I'm Googled out...), but I suspect that ground is "not" the middle. Actually, I suspect none of the wires are right. Anyone know off the top of their head?
