rear wheel bearing race removal ??
I pulled my hubs out for my rebuild, and one of the outer races stayed pressed onto the hub, how do I remove that? My puller needs something in the middle to press against but the hub is hollow.

Use a dremel and cut 2 slits lenghtwise (parallel to shaft), 180 degrees apart, almost through the race (no touchy hub).
Mount hub in vise, and crack race open with cold chisel and mini-sledge. Take a peak at what a local (p-car) shop did to my hubs with an air-chisel. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Use a bearing splitter/ spreader which cost about $20. There is a tech artical here on rear bearing replacement.
