Show me your corbeau seat install

Anyone installed aftermarket seats using the Corbeau rails/hardware? Got pics/write up? Thanks in advance.

I have installed Corbeaus in three different very quick cars (non Porsches). I absolutely love them, very light and very comfy.

I made brackets from scratch on my last install.

I can post pics if you wish....but I think you are looking for 911 specific pics.

Thanks Yasin. I appreciate the feedback. Yes, I am looking for a specific install in a 911. Added bonus if someone used the corbeau rails, as thats what I got. Anyone?

I've had Corbeaus in 2 of my street/track 911s and they are really good seats for the money. I've used the Forzas; they're very supportive and reasonably comfortable for my average sized frame.

That is, IF you install them with some kind of spacers, washers, what have you between the seats and the front edge of the slider brackets. Otherwise they are way too "upright"; you can fine-tune the rake to your comfort.

BTW, I've used them in later ('81) and early ('72) cars and both had to be "shimmed".

Pari, let me know if you need any help with the brackets. I'm going to be doing some work on the brackets on the Targa I bought from Ken.
They are the typical brackets that raise the seats about an inch. The seats are already too high at the stock location in my opinion.
You know where to find me!

These aluminum brackets were made to use the Corbeau sliders in 911.

I just installed one in my 76' 911. I used Sparco side mounts attached to the stock sliders. It still sits kind of high but the side rails allow for nice tilt adjustment.

Thanks for the pic fastbacker. Do you have one of it installed in the car?
Rich, I heard that about the Sparco side mounts, that it sits too high. Thats why I got the Corbeau kit.

I bought those seats with a project car. They came to me with those brackets made and I never installed them. I just recently sold them to David Avery (Pelican user name) so might want to pm him.
