Toronto Pelicans, need info on Shops...

Anybody know of a decent shop in Toronto area, or north of, for routine maintenance ie; valve adj. rebuilds etc? I have a line on one well north of T.O. but they are a little pricey!!!! Any feedback would be great, Thanks.

I recently used Hunter Sports for a valve adjustment and a spring service - on Haines Road in Mississauga. He was very fair and reasonbly priced. I can recommend him.

Thanks for the contacts! I'll give them a call. If you could PM me with some cost that would help. I have no reservations doing the valve adj myself but with two young children and another on the way (plus moving this summer) I have NO time for myself.

On the norht East corner of Front Street and I think it's Spadina is a Lambo dealership. If you go to the first entrance East of the dealership there is a great shop there. They do the Lambo work but also some of the best work on the exotics in Ontario. Sorry I don't have a number for them. They might be pricey as they only work on top end cars but I spent and hour in there with a freind having some work done on his car and these guys know there stuff. Might be over kill for a valve job.
Hope that helps
Steve

I'd recommend Rob Weston. He's the owner and sole mechanic of Autobahn Motors in Markham. He's been specializing on Porsches (and VW's and Audis) for over 20 years. He's got a very loyal customer base of 911 owners. He's also honest and fair.

I too would recommend Rob at Autobahn Motors in Markham. He has worked on my 72S for 15 years. Good guy, knows his stuff and extremely honest. When I put the carrera tensioner kit in the car he let me buy the parts from Pelican and he installed them. Difference in price between Pelican and local dealer paid his labour to install.
