VIN help please
While installing an amp in the trunk today I looked at the VIN by the fuel tank it reads WP0ZZZ917DS171028, however the door decal, LT A pillar plate and original window sticker from Jim Ellis Porsche in Tucker, GA all read WP0EA0917DS171028. Why are they different? Is this a grey market car? 1983 Cabriolet. There is NOT a VIN plate on dash as Leffingwell's book states is where I would find the VIN if it were grey market.

OK - as I went back to the main board I saw a new VIN question & Wil has answered my question - they all are ZZZ in the trunk
