Another oil leak question

I had finally gotten my Carrera to the point it had zero oil leaks for almost a year. Last week I notice the smell of burning oil. The left valve cover seal was leaking oil. I replaced it. I checked the right side and it looked great. No oil leaks at all. The first time I drove the 911 the right side began to leak. Was it just time for these seals to go. Or could there be something more sinister causing the seals to leak?

Are you sure it's the valve cover? I just found one on top...oil temp switch...easy to get to once you take the air filter box off...and your MAF.
