Took the 993 out for a drive..
Finally took the 993 out for a drive on the same road I used to drive the '86 911 on. My old '86 had a Weltmeister suspension upgrade and no power steering. The newer 993 feels a little mushy/soft and I think it feels more rolly polly.
Other than that, I noticed the 993 has a bit of a sticky clutch pedal at times. I've already found some advice for how to fix that, so I'm not too concerned by it. Anyways, without further ado, pics. ![]() The old one (I still miss it), ![]() The new one, (getting used to it),

Pretty. If the shocks are original, they are shot. Update the suspension and ride height and I bet that solid feeling will come back.
