Talking RUF YellowBird for sale in Stockholm

Found this whilst doing my usual search for parts etc on the local Swedish sites
http://www.blocket.se/vi/7570957.htm?ca=11_s
Will be interesting to see if they get the asking price - 450000SKr = 61700USD
Looks to be in good condition though!!

That's been posted before and I don't think it's a true Yellowbird. The engine compartment certainly looks different and doesn;t have the big CTR intake...

It is not. They state that it is a true RUF conversion but not a true RUF built YellowBird. Still a nice looking car though

Yes, it's a very sharp car. The other difference I remember is that the car in Sweden has a single intercooler in the engine compartment, but a real Yellowbird has dual intercoolers - one behind each rear wheel fed by NACA ducts on top of the wheel arches...

Not all the CTR have the NACA ducts at the rear fenders but it's true that all CTR are twin turbos.

they need to shave the rain gutters, extra dash lights, not a Ruf gas tank, not Ruf sway bar, don't have Ruf engine stickers, etc...

here it is an original Ruf CTR w/o NACA duct and a nice view of the engine and airbox

another one

CTR dash

sway bar and tank

Even those examples without NACA ducts still had dual intercoolers though...

Thanks for the info and photos!

That car is a regular 930 CTR wannabe...
