16" Track Wheel Options

I'm in the market for a set of 16X10.5 and 16X13 track wheels. The options I know of are Fikse and Kinesis. What else is out there?

Thanks-
Craig Backer

kodiak wheels

If interested in them, send Catca (Jeff) a pm or e-mail. Jeff is a dealer for Kodiak wheels.

I checked out the Kodiak websight but couldn't figure out how much the wheels weigh. Any idea if they're light (ie. under 20 pounds).

I also just realized that Fikse and Kinesis don't make 16" wheels.

Thanks-

Even 17s have limited selection. Jeff would know their weight I think. I'd guess they're similar weight to Fikses and Kinesis....if they still made 16s.

16" race wheels

Don't forget Jongbloed Racing wheels.

www.Jongbloedwheels.com

Just ask for the size and offset you'd like and they will make a set for you. Super light weight.

They will be under 20 for sure, I will double check this week on it. There is some variable in the weights as well depending on how much brake clearance we need. That effects the thickness of the center section mounting "pad" (for lack of a better term) which in turn effects the weight. Stock brakes will equal a lighter wheel. It is not a huge variable at all, infact it is minimal, but a variable none the less and I thought I should mention it. The target weight on the 17's (7.5/9) is around 16-17 lbs, so I would think the 16's would right about there as well.

More info to follow.

Cheers

The tire sizes that you are referring to is exactly the size that we run on our track car. We use REAL racing wheels shod with Hoosier slicks. You can visit our website at www.almost.co.za for more pictures and details on our setup.

Regards
