What does the ground wire that attaches at the coil bolt connect to?
I am in the garage doing wiring...I thought I might get a quick answer if I posted the question in the subject.

In a stock car, the brown curly wire goes between the coil negative terminal and the fan housing. You then must have a ground strap between the fan housing and the engine block for the coil to work.

John,
thanks for the info. I'm running an MSD AL6 and MSD Blaster coil. The MSD has a + and - running from the unit that plugs into the coil. It figures the ONE picture I didn't take is that connection...does it maybe still tap into that negative terminal on the coil, or should it perhaps go to the MSD somewhere?
