So Long and Thanks for All the Fish
Well, I dropped my '82 SC off at the shipper today so she can go to her new home in Salt Lake City. Pelicanite Bez is now her proud new owner.
I just want to say that I've really enjoyed the 911 ownership experience. Of course Pelican Parts has been a big part of it. Thank you Wayne and to everyone that has given me advice. Currently, I plan to pursue another dream car: a Pantera. But who knows, I just may end up with a 930 when the dust settles. Take care everyone.

I've always liked the curves of the 930 vs. the angular look of the Pantera. Either way you, go it'll be fun shopping for the new car.

There's a nice unmolested 930 in the for sale section. You'll be back in a P-car before you know it.

I've been helping a friend "finish the engineering" of a '72 Pantera as he restores it; if you get a Pantera that hasn't been "fixed" you will understand. My friend oft repeats the story of when the cars were new and the "importer" wanted to do a photo-shoot of it out on Long Island - they were unable to find a mechanic willing the drive the car out to the location because none of them thought they could make it there and back!

I just saw a Pantera with a for sale sign accross the street form my wife's work. Not sure of the year but it didn't have the big bumpers; but it did look pretty beat. No price listed
