Ok Guys I have decided to powder coat my fan, shroud and pulley. Question... does the fan nut have to be torqed when reinstalling ?

Also what colors do you think...Black shroud, silver Fan , red pulley. See pic...

Do not paint it. The fan will chip....and basicly look like crap after a while. Polish the fan and paint the fan housing.

I painted mine two different shades of silver...polished the strap...its not parfect but I like the outcome....and when it chips...I will sand and repaint....no big deal...and I dont have to worry about clearance issues with powder coating.
