Curious as to whats up. Also changed the air filter to a fabspeed bmc air filter. Theres this small black box with a line with two prongs that has two vaccum lines. I have the bottom line attached but dont remember there being a top line. Can someone help? Thanks

turned the idle screw all the way down, didnt do anything. Checked the throttle, doesnt appear to be stuck.

I would like to know what is causing high idle as well. I had a small electrical fire behind the instruments today, replaced all the burnt wires, but the car had trouble starting. Then magically the car started, but it's been idling at 2K RPMs ever since

I noticed in the engine the red rubber boot that has a black wire running into it the connector was taken off and the bare wire wrapped around the prong, would that affect idle?
