Grand Prix Jaccket group buy update info!
Just got the sample jackets in from Dom. They are pretty cool.
There will be no more sizes changes after Monday 2/28 12PM. Here is my take on it after trying them on. Grand Prix Le Mans and the Original Grand Prix fit true to American sizing. I wear a XL in most things...6'1" and 215#. These fit me true to size. The XXLs in the Originals they are too big even with a sweater. Buy one size up if you are looking for a baggy look The GP Racing Trueblue fits really small. One size up may do it if you are a really skinny guy. I suspect I'd need two sizes up on the Trueblue. But only guessing as the XL is way too small. The Trueblue XL Feels like a medium jacket for American sizing. From Dom's numbers I doubt a XXL would fit me.. but it would be "tight". Leather jackets are the Original GP cut so they should also be true to American sizing. I tried all these on with a long sleeved cotton polo shirt of medium weight. If you have made a size change already, I have it. If you need to change now please send messages ONLY to my personal email. PM's on jackets will be ignored as I can't easily copy them. Don't forget to include your pay pal address and group buy # in the email or I won't be able to track your order. These will be worth the wait I think. Measure twice, buy once ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by rdane; 02-25-2005 at 12:13 PM.. |

Thanks for the info! I've been sitting here with my favorite 42R leather jacket and a tape measure trying to see how they compared. That's just what I needed.

I have gotten something like 35 order changes ...
Hard to tell you if I have yours unless I have your email, order number and pay pal address. Pelican user name isn't a big help. Last edited by rdane; 02-28-2005 at 08:39 PM.. |

Dane, I missed the buy and now that the original threads are closed I can't find the link to the website. I'd like to get a jacket eventually myself - can you just tell me what the site is again? Thanks.
