Fitting new bellows?
I got new bumper bellows for the SC. No matter what I do they just don't fit right. Is there some kind of trick or is this just another reason I should have bought used parts?

Got the fronts on. but the rears just seem goofy. There is a big lip on the bottom that just wants to buckle and doesn't fit right...

Shawn,
Sounds like you have them on wrong. There's a lip at the bottom of the rear quarter panels and a lip at the top edge of the extension pieces below the quarter panels. The bellows rubber has a slot molded into the bottom that wraps around the lip. Take one off and look at it; it should be easy to see. I find it a bit of a pain in the butt to install these but once they are in correctly, they should look fine. JR |
