Fuel pump storage
While doing some other work, I took the opportunity to replace the fuel pump in my 1981 SC with a new one. Even though the fuel pump was working fine, I decided it was better to do the preventive maint. now vs. wait until it quits later. Anyway, the old pump still works and I would like to keep it as a spare. How should I store it? Dry, or with gas, oil, or something else inside?
Thanks Mike

I carry a spare pump pickled in 50/50 10w non-detergent and Marvel Mystery oil. I used to use ATF.
