Rear Deck Panel Mounting Screws

I am having trouble going through the PP catalog and identifying the proper screws and snaps needed to secure the interior rear deck panel behind the rear seats.

I know the top two should have the screws inset with the male snaps for the leather straps that are on the back of the seats, but I am guessing that it is the same 4 screws for the mounting points?

Any direction someone could point me in?

I attached mine with the strap anchors only. It just fits nice and snug and those screws are the only ones that do anything

You don't say what year car you are working on, so I'll give a general reply. The upper screws are typically listed as 5x20mm and the lower ones are 3.5x22. They are black, countersunk head sheet metal screws with a 90 degree finish washer. Occasionally, longer screws are listed for the rear decks that had speakers; these were typically 3.5x38mm.

Metric sheet metal screws are really not metric, they are just good old US sizes, measured to the nearest tenth of a millimeter. You'll be able to find these at any decent hardware store.

Hope this helps,

JR

Sorry about the lack of model and year, I thought I had my signature setup already.

It is a 79SC Targa.
