Leaking valve cover at track

I have an 82 sc and there is oil leaking from the passenger side valve cover, but only small amounts. It never pools on the garage floor but when you look at the bolts there is a drop of oil forming on all of the lower bolts. I haven't been concerned about it, but the past couple of times that I've been to the track for DE's, the leaks have become worse (with some small pools during the day). Two questions; 1)why is the leak worse at the track 2)should I try and tackle this or not worry about it? The car has turbo covers and the gasket that is showing appears to be red. Sorry, the attached picture is pretty poor.

Thanks,
Sean

Higher temps thin out oil...prolly a small warpage. Pull and flat sand replace gasket.

What about blow-by??

I had an old 1973 series IIa Land rover that would pop valve cover gaskets if I took it on the highway. It was fine around town.
