german silver thread
Do I have german silver theard or just plush carpet? My car is a 79 930 euro with what i believe to be factory carpet. Has anyone tried the carpet kits from ebay how good is the quality and fitment?

Ok found out that there are a very wide range of carpets in 911s. The 2.7 liter cars had 4 different grades. The 3.0 liter cars had velour pile for 1978 then changed to cut pile velour. The 3.2 had cut pile velour until 1988 then it changed to silk velour. So does anyone have any experience with the carpet kits on ebay what kind best resembles "cut pile velour".
