Seat covers or Racing seats?

Has anyone ever used these iggee seat covers? Are they any good? I like my seats and I like the power features and all that, but I'm worried these covers will slide around and I won't be happy with the fit and finish.

Should I forget the seat covers and go for a pair of racing seats? I was thinking of the DAD seats.

What do you guys think?

Thanks,
Bill

I have a set I bought from them, They are the nicest seat covers I have ever seen, they take about an hour to get on, only hard core porsche guys can tell the difference right away. With that said, I still know they are covers and that kicks my ass, also they sent me power cutouts on both seats and I said only driver, but the patterns are spot on, the material is thick high qulity with padding, I paid 179 on ebay, they are worth every penny, Shops were quoting 800-100 to cover in vinyl, I have a set of recaros and forza's in another car, but these covers on my 87 with power are great, if you want my opinion get them, if your really particular and have tons of money, get them recovered, heres a picture,

Dgraphic-

How are your seat covers holding up after you've had them awhile? Still tight?

I have a 1 inch seam tear in the drivers seat & it's driving me nuts. I'm thinking new leather on both seats. I can only admit this insainity on this forum.

Since i Hardly drive the car they are perfect, but would think they still would be with more miles, they are a heavy grade well stitched vinyl. But they Are a cover. I had the same rip in my seat. These also make it a little more sporty.

Bill, are you looking for these for the turbo?
What about swapping the seats from the 85?

Nope, this is an old thread. I already picked up a set of Iggee covers for the '85 and put the crest on the headrest. The seats in the '85 were getting pretty rough.

I sent you a PM too Wayne....

Well I kinda did. The seat covers anyway. I got the iggee covers and ordered up a couple of crest patches (like for a jacket) from our host and took them to a local interior place and had them sewn on. I just wanted to add a personal touch. They turned out great I think! Lots of people think they are the actual seats and not covers and I get lots of comments on them cause the crest grabs attention.
