74 911 Batt. Terminal mystery object - any pics of how it should be?
Car is a 1974 911 and the positive battery terminal - a single cable - comes from a small cylindrical object about 1 3/4" in diameter and about 2 inches tall which is mounted to the wall of the trunk just below the fuse box (sorry my digicam is bust at the moment so no pics) - there are 3 red wires going to this. I'm not good with wiring diagrams and really struggle to understand them - this item may be on there, it may be from a po installation (alarm or similar).
I'm just trying to find out what it is and how this area should look - anyone got any pics opf this area - maybe from a similar year car? Help, please! |

Hi kaferboy. Could you supply some more detail. Is there 2 wires going in and then one coming out going to the battery? It could just be a junction box put in there by a po to clean up the wiring to the battery.
