Spring Plate cover popped off
OK, I beat it with my BFH trying to get it separated from the torsion bar & the cover popped off. It doesn't look like it is welded. Is this a freezer/oven deal to get it back on or do I need a press?

Just pop it back in and peen the edges with a hammer and punch.

Silver,
Had same thing happened to one of mine. Peened it as suggested but might pop off easily. I put some JB Weld and has been there for 3 years since. TD |
