2.5 SS in a 356

More pic's coming soon. The 57 coupe #101588 is at the end of a 7 year restoration. A lot of thought was put into this project. The rear torsion tube was modified to allow the engine and 915 transmission to be moved foward 5". The rear engine compartment firewall/back seat panel was also moved forward 4" to allow for a easy fit of the 911 engine. Oil tank is from a 72 and is located in the right rear fender, forward of the rear wheel just like the 1972 911, oil door in same location. Engine is a 7R case, 66mm crank, 930 oil pump, 90mm bore, 11:1 compression, GE-60 cams, twin plug, 38mm ports, stacks and Henry's special 2.2S pump. Engine is not done yet. Short gears in a 1972 915 gearbox. Front brakes are early S on modified 356SC front spindels, rear brakes are from a 72 but put on a modified 66 rear IRS arm. Fuel Safe Fuel Cell up front. Twin oil coolers behind horn grills. 72 oil console up under right rear fender near tail light/bumper bracket area. Custom made metal oil lines from oil tank to coolers, just like the 356 carrera.
Im just finishing the twin fuel lines and break line installation in the tunnel, then the floor, then paint.
Oh yes, I have a day job too.

I want! I want! I WANT!!! OK, I'm first in line if you ever decide to sell it. Do you know what color you are going to paint it and what wheels you will run?
