Got the MSD ignition installed now spark plug gaps?
 
Hey guys want to know what you guys set your gaps on the spark plugs for the 930 after installing the msd ignition kit, also what spark plugs you guys running? Thanks in advance

Steve Weiner says .040 w/MSD.

I did the .040 setting and had issues with it; unfortunately, I could not recall the specifics. I had to lessen the number to have a better performance.

However, that was before I installed my SSI and adjusting my mixture. I may have to revisit this .040 gap setting.

maybe plug wire miss due to more current being drawn ?

Check MSD's site, they have a good set of instructions. I thought it was .050, but I could be wrong.

I installed a competitor's copy of the MSD 6AL, and haven't regapped the plugs, and it runs fine. (I haven't run the car all that much either)

I'll second taking Steve's advice 0.40 is the best place to start. MSD does recommend .050 but that is a generic recommendation. I run mine just under .040.

Fray you should regap the plugs to take advantage of the larger spark these units deliver.
