where is the blow off valve?
Please no flames, Im sitting here while my 930 is in the shop and cant check to see where the bov is. I was looking at getting an aftermarket one. Anyone got a picture of its location? Thanks

I have 79 930 euro I believe only regulated race cars use a blow off valve as a way of limiting boost. your car uses a vacuum actuated wast gate and a fuel cut off circuit.

I think I remember that you have a kokeln IC? The diverter valve(since on a cis car you can't blow off the intake charge to the atmosphere with a BOV) is on the large rubber intake elbow leaving the fuel distributor/air box on the left on its way to the turbo and connected to the back of the IC by a blue silicone hose if it still has the original kokeln hose. Test your diverter valve, but don't believe all the hype

also whats the stock waste gate pipe look like? When I got the car it has the one that looks like the one eagle day is selling. thanks

Yes, that's the BOV for a CIS system. You can replace it with the BOV like in the ebay ad, but you still must divert it back to the intake tract between the throttle and the compressor. This is because you don't want to bleed off air that the engine has measured and thinks it's going to get at some point.
