Anyone using Smart Racing Products Sway Bars??

Looking for feedback on the SRP sway bars. The rear drop links and leverage arms seem to hang really low on the cars that I have seen with them. Any solutions to this potential problem?

They hang low, but the location is close to the axles so that anything other then a large obstacle should clear. They have some minor scraping on my lowered car, but this was mostly from driving up over curbs and other obstacles.

Couldn't the attachment for the drop link be raised so that this clearance wasn't a problem?

I run them and a quite happy. My car is quite low and I have never hit them. The low part is back fairly far so the tire picks the car up in most cases beofre a speed bump or such would come in contact. Other debris would be a different story.

SRP claims to have put a lot of thought into drop link length and bar design to get the geometry correct. You could shorten the links to their shortest overall length like you suggest and that would help.

These are nice bars, but they are heavy. If you do not need BIG bars, I would go with the Tarett bars. (very light in comparison)

Cheers

If you move the bar up you alter the kinematics.

If you NEED a bar like this you should have the car at minimum ride height anyway. It doesn't scrape the ground on track but be careful moving it into storage.
