Heated Side View Mirrors
 
I recently noticed that when my 1983 SC Cab is running the side view mirrors are heating up. (The driver side more than the passenger.) All the heater and defroster levers are off. Is there a separate switch to activate the heated side view mirror? What system turns on these electric heaters? Thanks

I believe the mirrors are controlled by the rear defroster knob in the dash. You turn it to heat the mirrors.

Yes that is what I thought. But my car is a Cab. The rear window defroster switch is missing. Hence my confusion
