anyone used these

Thinking down the road, I'm going to have to cut out a bit of my passenger side jam due to rust. I was thinking of getting these in stead of welding temporary supports.

Just curious what your thoughts were on the real world benifits to these braces.

item description:
"Everyone knows the TargaŽ, especially the older ones, have some amount of Flex. Now you can eliminate a great deal of that body movement by simply installing this TargaŽ Body Brace - where the rear end meets the side sill, this is the car's potential weakest. The polished aluminum bars mount diagonally by using the seat belt bolts in the lower sill and the B-Pillar. Tying the body parts together at this point give the car more structural rigidity making it quieter and much stiffer. Not only do these airfoil shaped bars look good - they will not interfere with the exiting or entering of your vehicle or the seat belt operation. Installation instructions and hardware included. "

If you decide to go with this set up send me a PM. I have a set I'd let go for cheap. Don't need em as I have a coupe.

Have you seen this recent thread about non-cage chassis reinforcement? You can draw your own conclusions about how this bar will address the specific structural issues that affect chassis stiffness.
