Carburetor option's for a 3.6????

I have been all over the map lately as to how to get my 3.6 long block
up and running without buying are factory intake.

I have considered TWM's and JENVEY's even PMO's carb set up .
But damn.....There all over 3g's + the aftermarket EMG. That total's easily
4.5g's+.

Any opinion's on using a set of old webbers with a adapter from 2 bolt- 3 bolt style. Or is the spacing of the cylinders too wide to even consider such a possibilty.

I am really in the dark when it comes to what is possible with the flat six.

In Anderson's book...Carbs still seem to give pretty good performance

You can do carbs, sure. Weber 46IDA will work with adapter manifolds that have 3 studs instead of 2. If I was dying to do carbs on a 3.6, I'd probably use PMO 50s if I had the bucks...then again, I'd probably look into EFI at that price. PMO's are basically bolt-on $3k. Webers $2k ish...I am working on boring out a pair of Weber 40s to become Weber 46s, perhaps larger, might be a little cheaper than actually buying 46s. Not sure yet.

Best of luck

Scott

Scott if you can keep me updated on your carb project. I will PM you later today
Thanks

Anybody else have any opinion's on carbs on a 3.6. I am pretty tempted to keep it old school if they can be reliable.
