B&B SS exhaust Self Destructing?

1988 911, B&B Muffy: 1in, 1out same side can.

It looks like B&B use the same can for multiple applications..so, on the NON holed side, it looks like 2 punchouts. towards the middle, both punchouts are cracked in a Semicircle (180 degree arc) and this leaves a 1/8 crack at the widest areas.

Muffler is 2-3 years old.

any advice? or is this normal, or what?

About to grab the Welder and stich it up.

B+B mufflers are known to crack, do a search and you'll see plenty of posts about seams splitting, cases cracking etc. It seems the stainless that they use tends to get brittle as they heat cycle.
