Matt's Dad Road America Saga
For those have read the post from Matt concerning my "money shift" I wanted to say thanks for all the positive comments. The little excitement was on the last lap and would have been my last "shift" for the three day event. I had been battling a 996 cab for most of three laps and I finally passed him just before Canada Corner on the back straight. Just miss shifted at a critical moment......at the end of the event!
On the positive I have to tell you that Road America was fantastic. This place rocks and without a doubt this was the most fun you can have with your clothes on! If you like a great conbination of high speed straights, wicked corners like five and six, this place has it. There are three ultra high speed sections and 14 corners on the four mile track. I am total addicted, this place is the rock cocaine of midwest tracks. The others we go to are lots of fun but this monster is bad to the bone. I can only say that I would have loved to have Matt there knowing that I would have seen is SC zooming from behind and knowing there would be no escape until I gave him the passing sign. Next step, getting the black beast back on the road, I hear there is a DE at Road America next month. The best thing to do when you fall on the horse is get back on and show that pony who is boss!

On the Milwaukee Council's site it is marked Midwest Council, July 28 and 29th
