'89 Speedster windshield- accessory removal
Need to remove the mirror and visors from a '89 911 speedster windshield. Anybody know if you have to pull the seal back to expose attaching bolts or something. I don't want to pull the seal away to look unless I have to. BTW the windshield is perfect and going up for sale for $2K, minus the mirror and visors. Pics available and will post after removal.

I do know that when you purchase a new windshield for a Speedster it comes with the mirror and sunvisors attached, as well as the frame. The seal around my windshield seems bonded to the glass. I'm not positive if it is but don't want to poke and prod too much.

the soft outer seal is removed enough to expose the hardware. a minor pain to reinstall. silicone spray helps.
