What was the controlled red-line on a '89 3.2?
 
Presently I am controlling revs thru the dist. rotor at 6500 RPM because my fuel management is from a '79 SC w/CIS. Exposure comes from DE events where I log approx 200 track miles per event. This engine is in a '74 911 where the tach red lines at approx 6500. This long-block has 118K LTD.

Normal 3.2 Redline is 6250 with a chip cut-out at 6520....

Club sport with hollow valves up this chip cut-out a bit to 6820, or so....
