CA only motor difference?
Hi guys, I have a motor on the way to the house soon (thanks Cliff!) and was wondering something. Motor number starts *6580...looked up online and see its a california motor. HP and torque are the same. Whats the difference? Smog pump or something?

Depends....could be just that it was certified as meeting the emissions of that year in CA. BTW....that's the serial number....motor #s are like 911/XX or 930/xx....they are near the serial number but faint.....find it and you'll know more.

Located the motor number last night 930/06. One of my bookes states its a CA motor, but doesn't give details. Anyone know whats different?
