wont run properly under 2,5% co

Hi Any suggestions?
My 3,0 sc -83 wont run properly under 2,5% co.
And i have high fuel consumptions.
Plugs looks fine and new air-filter.
Poor fuel injectors?
My oil level i rising so i think that some fuel slippering out to
the engine oil.

How old are your ignition cables?

I have not change them so the ignition cable could be old.
But the spark plugs looks fine so i didn't think the cables was the problem.

Tom,

I would approach this in a manner similar to the MFI CMA with emphasis on Check and Measure. Start with the basics: Check the cranking compression and cylinder leak, check the valve adjustment and cam timing, make sure the entire ignition system is in proper order and new high voltage parts (rotor, cap, wires, plug connectors). Then check the control pressures at the CIS. With the gauges it is easy to find leaking injectors, bad WUR, etc.

If you think you have oil dilution with gasoline – change the oil now!

Once you know the basics are proper, only then you can chase the CIS issues. It is bad form (and expensive) to start replacing injection parts first.

Best,
Grady
