Muffler mod on a C2 updated 77 911???
 

Hi all,

Surely this update has been done a million times throughout the last 16 years. The outlet on a 2.7's muffler is on the drivers side. The cut out in the rear bumper of a C2 is on the pass side. My muffler is a 2 in 1 out. Some have said to cut off and block the 1 out and weld it in to an opening on the other side not worrying about the baffle, and others have said im F'd. Surely there is not a lot that went in to these 30 year old mufflers, after all back then they were as much concerned about smog and the environment as the oil companys are about raising prices.LOL
