What's wrong in these pictures???
Installed new clutch and went about adjusting to 1.2 cable off 1.0 cable on and everything looks great including foot pedal. The problem is when I push in the clutch pedal in the omega spring goes to the other side (pic #2) I move it back and the same thing happens. On my 78 the HE held the omega spring in position but on this car I'm running B&B headers so that space is open. Did a search but couldn't find a siimilar problem. Anybody have any ideas? Am I doing something wrong.

Mine did exactly the same thing when I rebuilt last year. Turned out to be the adjustment. Seems to be a very fine line.

Is it rubbing and hanging up on the case?

Isn't that the intended action of the spring? Does the pedal feel ok? I'd go have a llok at mine but it's not parked at my house here.

dentist90 no there is nothing around to rub on. The spring just springs over.
ianc I also think that Wilke could be right I'll have to try tomorrow. Thanks for you help. Jwetering when the spring goes over the pedal becomes a spongie hard fell if that makes sense.
