Installing 993 cab rear seats/belts console in a carrera
 

Hey guys

I just bought one of these rear seat setups with belts, and while I am awaiting it, I wanted to see if anyone out there knows what's involved in the install into an earlier car (84 carrera).

I searched and found David Griswold had done it, stated it was easy, but he became unregistered, and I cannot reach him.

Car is already a mutant, no problem breaking out the Lincoln Mig for a little play :)

David Griswold's pics were hosted off site at a free hosting service, I'm sure they're dead and gone. I emailed him through PP, but I don't think it's a valid address after 5+ years.

Even if I don't hear from anyone, I'm still taking the plunge and will document it here.

zebump, anyone got any info? Got the piece today, it's puzzling. The lower belts appear to have been cut. Time to break out the tech drawings.

Bump, was unable to get in touch with David Griswold. Anyone out there with this mod?
