Should I change my rims to these?
I currently have the black Fuchs in the first pic and I don't like black rims on a black car so I am thinking that I might go with the gold BBS's in the second pic.
First pic is my car....second pic is one I found online. What do you think? ![]() ![]()

I second that. Have the paddles polished. It adds a little bling - but still classy.

I just don't like the look of Fuch's. Doesn't matter if they are polished or not, I just have never liked these rims.

I've got a black Carrera with black fuchs and love the way it looks, but to each his own. Personally, I think a slope with the BBS wheels looks great as well. It's your thing; do what you wanna do..

Go to some Kinesis or even Ruf wheels. The honeycombs are good for track wheels

The OEM is best and permits brake pad wear inspection without removing the wheel. Those BBS are not functional and I don't think there will be much weight savings either. JMO since it's your car and how it looks doesn't matter much to me.

Jeez....Get some 18" already. Those BBS rims are OK but there are so many nice rims out there. Your car is just screaming for some 18/19" rims . Ahhhhh, its also sreaming to be LOWERED heh, heh.
Car looks very nice |

Will 19's fit? I can't lower it because it already barely makes it up my driveway.

I know alot of people will not agree with me because they are in love with there 15''/16'' rims but you could fit 18'' 100%. There are a bunch of people running them . To fit 19'' your gonna have to run a really , really low profile tire not the best for ride quality . 18'' are just perfect , I love the look also. I am surprised you cannot lower your car anymore it looks really high.... Looks like I could crawl into your wheel well and take a nap Reverse your car into the driveway if you have to. Seriously though your car is very nice I would just figure out some way to tighten that gap between the body and tire. |

I want to go 17's mainly because 18" tires are expensive to replace and 17's are a little cheaper. My driveway is real steep and has a bad angle. If I dont angle the car just right as it is now, it scrapes the front and back.

I think the fuchs are drab and don't do the fine lines of the P-car justice, there are alot of choices out there, personally I like the look of the BBS dated or not, but then again the 911 is an example of ageless beauty and those lines, Nicely finished BBS pop out at you and bottom line is what you like.

Well, I really like the

I agree with the 18 inch wheels. They would really look nice on the slant nose. I am partial to the Turbo look....
Here's mine with 18 inch HRE's that were chromed.... Bill P. ![]()

SlantnoseSD, can I jump in for a similar question?
those older P with 18" wheels, How is the ride? Is it much harsher compare to 16" wheels with 50 and 45 serries tires? nine14cats, Is your real turbo, turbo look, or conversion? If your is the conversion, do you still use wheels adapters. Thanks.
