Boost problems

Hey guys on my 930 my boost doesnt want to work anymore. I installed a kokeln ic and turbo a few weeks ago and it ran great. Last weekend the boost didnt come on in first gear until near redline at that hit 0.6 bars. Second hit about 0.8 and third went to 1.1. I thought the wastegate was failing so I ordered a tial with 1.0 bar from IA. Just installed it and still the same problems. On top of the wastegate there is an opening but when I pulled my wastegate there was no line running to it, is there a line that runs to the top of the wastegate? I have the bottom line running to the IC. What could be the culprit?

sounds like a leak to me. Make sure that your IC connections all the way to the throttlebody are good and tight. Something probably came loose. I have seen that happen with turbo'd VWs when people have installed CAIs and front mount intercoolers. If the wastegate was failing I would expect very little to no boost.

The connection on top of the stock wastegate is for the boost control line from the intercooler. If this is missing check the intercooler is not venting boost out a loose boost reference line.

there are two openings, one on the very top of the wastegate and the one on the side, which was goes to the IC?

The line on the top of the wastegate is usually the vent and the line goes to atmosphere ie no where. The line on the side is boost reference and goes to the intake or intercooler
