Q on setting up alcohol injection kit

Hey guys 2 questions, first when it says to tap into a line before the throttle body would tapping it into the IC before the throttle body work and also wiring that goes to the 12v igntion, what wire is this?

Yes, you place your injector port before the throttle body. The intercooler duct would work.

The 12v source is any place that you can tap into to get 12v with the key on. The + side on the coil usually works, though I try not to use it. You should be able to get a keyed 12v source off of the realy board in the engine compartment. Use a test light or volt meter to identify a source.

I would recomend converting car from scratch to run on E85. It will run much cooler and won't ping on boost (E85 has RON of 104).

Ethanol injection is fussy band-aid. What happends if you run short of booze?

E85 is a mixture of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline. It's produced domesticaly, introduces much less additional CO into biosphere and smells good to boot.

What car? If it's CIS, you can lower your control pressure until you get 40% more fuel flow, volumetricaly.

I played with E85 alot and never got it to ping. Really really nice fuel. I run all my daily drivers on it and have SAAB 9-3 BioPower company car as well.

That fraud has been on the internet since the 90's. Initially marketed for welders. Lots of marks lost money on it.
Think about it. If it would work, you would have a perpetual motion machine.

thanks now I need to tap into manifold/boost source. Would the best place be where the wastegate goes into the IC?
