Question, ( 911SC 82’)
I haven’t install the NOVITA EP26 relay jet, all outside LED lights had been updated Do I need to change the REV gauge signal lights to LED for the conversion to work?

I just installed these led turn lights that have built in resistor and done, no other modifications.
Works as charm.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1610716850.jpg

kavadarci, can you share the product info? Brand and part number or something? Thanks!

A parallel thread on the subject today. I posted this link that might help without modifying the harness:

I'll bring this really old thread back up featuring the cure for the dreaded Led Turn Signal indicator problem. I had both indicators flashing with the turn signals ever since I changed over to leds several years ago. After spending a couple of hours on this I found this thread and mine is fixed.
Read the very first post for the quick and easy solution.

Technology has moved forward since this post was created. Bulbs with resistors. Electronic flashers.More aftermarket choices. Etc.

I did my 911 years ago. A lot less on the market.

Just did my 6v 356 and it was a piece of cake compared to a few years back.

LED-compatible flasher EP26 is pin-compatible with 911's up to about 1986 although pin C2 on the flasher needs to be connected to ground. This is easily done inside the flasher.

Years ago I changed over to your LED brake lights and put some LEDs in the dash. I replaced the flasher with electronic but ended up leaving the old bulbs in the TS indicators because they wouldn't work right with the leds. 5 yrs later I got back to it and with this fix I was able to use leds in the TS indicators and have them work correctly.
Maybe grounding the flasher would have the same result.

I was led to believe that the one bulb you could not change to LED was the alternator charge bulb in the gauge as it has an impact on triggering the charging system?

I believe that is still true. I changed all dash lights to LED and left the Alt. bulb alone. As it’s use is miniscule. Swapping to LED and adding a resistor would not be worth the effort.
